Dean of Studies’ Office and Examining Board

The Office of the Dean of Studies and Examining Board are involved in the recognition of course and exam credits, as well as general matters relating to examination regulations. This includes, in particular, decisions regarding the recognition of credits earned at other higher education institutions in Germany and abroad. After enrolment, the Examination Board can recognise course and exam credits that students have previously earned. They also advise domestic and international students on such matters.

In addition, the Office of the Dean of Studies and the Examination Board are responsible for organizing the exam period.
