Stiftung Wirtschaftswissenschaft

The non-profit foundation "Wirtschaftswissenschaft Düsseldorf" is a dependent foundation within the Gesellschaft von Freunden und Förderern der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf e.V.. Their endowment capital has been provided by well-known companies, institutions and personalities in the Düsseldorf area; it amounts to more than 500,000 euros. Further donations will also be sought in the future. The purpose of the foundation is to finance the Chair of "Corporate Auditing and Controlling" or "Accounting" in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and to promote research and teaching in economics at Heinrich Heine University.
