Data protection

In the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, central data protection is constantly represented by the Faculty Data Protection Coordinator, in particular in faculty-specific matters, in accordance with the requirements of the DSGVO.

Tasks

The Data Protection Coordinator of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics is the first contact person in the faculty for all questions regarding data protection.

As an intermediary to and in close coordination with the HHU data protection officer

• forwards inquiries and data protection-relevant information to the data protection officer.
• forwards information about data protection regulations to the employees of the faculty.
• informs the employees of the faculty about the data protection regulations.
• helps to organize courses and further training in the area of data protection as well as to raise employee awareness.
• implements processes for data protection compliant data processing.
• advises and supports them in the implementation of technical and organizational measures.
