Faculty-Tenure-Commission

For the interim and final evaluation of junior professors, a permanent evaluation commission (Faculty Tenure Commission) convenes in the faculty.

The tasks of the Faculty Tenure Commission include the implementation and administration of the interim or final evaluation, the collection of expert opinions, statements, the evaluation of the junior professor's performance and future potential in national and international comparison, and the assessment of the junior professor's integration in research and teaching within HHU. It makes a recommendation to the Faculty Council to extend or perpetuate the employment or service relationship of the junior professor or to terminate the tenure track procedure.
